Hello from Bloggerville. Dana and JC are rather surreally reporting whilst the lighting crew "experiments" nearby. The resultant effect resembles Cinderalla Rockefellas, 1987-stylee, from my Youth as we peer through a haze of strobe effects

To my left the final two tables are surrounded by a phalanx of slightly hungover railbirds, Sky have just arived and all I have to say is

GO ON JEN!

Here are the remaining 15 players...

TABLE ONE
Derek 1  Thorpe
2  Thomas Nolan
3  Jimmy Kiernan
4  Anthony Lynch
5  Tony Baitson
6  Rob Taylor
7  Ian Whittey

TABLE TWO
1  James Kenny
2  Nicky Power
3  Michael Trimby
4  Jay Danter
5  Connie SUllivan
6  Mem Tam
7  J Mason
8  Ken Corkery

If you are wondering why there haven't been any reports of Jen Mason hands yet, that's because so far she has yet to play a hand as far as I know. She is biding her time though, working out players I can tell, so expect her to spring into action shortly...

I can, and will, throw up next time they do that. Rod and I have acquired roast dinners now, so that's less of an, um, empty threat than it was about 15 minutes ago...

Incidentally, far be it from me to criticise anything done in the name of blondepoker, but the No-Ipods-Once-You're-In-The-Money rule seems a little harsh. If you've become used to listening to dodgy novelty hits of the Eighties (we shall name no names), then it could really affect your game to have your ipod taken away from you. I hope it doesn't lead to players singing or anything awful...

Full report on the Roast Dinner Please

The gravy was dominating the plate, but met some resistance in the form of the large slab of turkey which stood up to it temporarily.

The mashed potato was just bleeding away and the carrots were all over the place and were soon allin.

Mike Lacey referred to it as a "dirty roast".

Ultimately once the dust settled the last man standing was a lonely piece of mashed potato, putting up sterling resistance from the insistent attacks of the fork.

Good game turkey roast

Rob Taylor and Thomas Bomber Nolan just played out a big pot.

On a flop of A-J-9 the chips flew in and Rob was ALLIN as bomber had him covered.

When the cards were revealed though, he looked in good shape with A-9 versus Bomber's A-2.

The turn was an Ace, giving Bomber a few split outs, and the river 2 gave Bomber a full house, but Rob's full house was a smidgin better and the 600+k pot was shipped to him , which is likely to be good for the chip lead at this stage.

Jen was also seen bursting into action. Surprisingly it was not on the table though. A panicked Jen had misplaced her rucksack with passport within and was rushing all round the hotel trying to locate it whilst she was blinding away. She soon recovered it and dashed back to the table so she could pass her latest hand...
