End of Over 66 (1 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 198-2, runrate=3.00 (tea)
Trail by 425 runs. (Avems Gooners 623-3 dec)

Minor annoyance of my opener getting out on 96, over than that it is going well, and I'm approaching the heady heights of batting bonus points now!

Was going well then lost the wicket of Harris in the penultimate ball before tea.  I needed him and AN Other to put together a big partnership to have any hope of salvaging something from this match.  Managed to get max bowling points so thats something I guess...every little helps and all that.

End of Over 30 (2 runs). KBOTW: 100-2, runrate=3.33 (1st Inn: 123-10)
Trail by 77 runs. (Alfie Allstars 300-10)
Mackay 7-0-22-2
Meyer* 1 (2 balls)
Morgan 29 (25 balls)

Last Wicket: Harris b. Mackay 45 (FOW: 99/2)

Might have messed up here. At home and wasn't sure whether I'd be able to log in and eclare tonight so set a target of 998, which my lot reached around Tea (1000-3dec* does at least look pretty). Now got them at 14-2 and my club accountant is looking nervous Sad

*This is a human controlled team; he's yet to master the art of managing PFL among his bowlers and now his batters are looking tired too.

i made 174 AO in 70 overs

and was made to follow on

first ball 2nd innings i lose my best batsman

this is with a near enough full team out there

i would of struggled to win a single match even if i put out my best team each match this season

Them 74-3. Might take a while tomorrow, the batsmen in both have wages of £K plus and are energetic and invigorated. Next two after that are both energetic PFL as well and prob prof bats.

Now think my strike bowlers have done very well to dismiss their top order so quickly in both innings.

GL all.

End of Over 106 (10 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 311-4, runrate=2.93
Trail by 312 runs. (Avems Gooners 623-3 dec)

Coming up on the 4th batting point, so doing much better than expected.

Still got quite a bat of batting to come (next man in has quality batting), so still hopeful I can bat out for a draw (he has to take 16 wickets tomorrow to win!) but the weather could change and make that harder for me!

I've actually made a decent go of it in my second innings, just needed someone to make a big score and it hasn't happened. I need to try and get a lead of 200 or so to gve my bowlers half a chance of pulling off a shock.  Only one more batsman to come though so a couple of quick wickets by them and it will be all over before lunch.  Had I got my desired hard and fast pitch I'm pretty sure I'd have got the draw.

End of Over 70 (7 runs). KBOTW: 240-4, runrate=3.43 (1st Inn: 123-10)
Lead by 63 runs. (Alfie Allstars 300-10)
Knight 10-1-37-0
Bowler* 43 (96 balls)
Tau 32 (35 balls)

Last Wicket: Morgan c. Christopher b. Sanghera 61 (FOW: 180/4)

Bowled them out for just 71 meaning an innings and 382 run victory.

happy thing is my ratings are improving rapidly, with 3 mediocre ratings Smiley

End of Over 141 (7 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 432-6, runrate=3.06
Trail by 191 runs. (Avems Gooners 623-3 dec)

Might even avoid the follow on at this rate!

Going to fall just short by the look of things unless my bowlers can work miracles. I need to hang around for 15overs or so and make another 50runs but 10 and 11 are worthless bats so no real hope of that.

The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 105 (1 runs). KBOTW: 334-8, runrate=3.18 (1st Inn: 123-10)
Lead by 157 runs. (Alfie Allstars 300-10)
Howell 25-6-54-1
Tau* 88 (133 balls)
Perry 0 (14 balls)

Last Wicket: Talamini b. Wrack 0 (FOW: 331/8)

End of Over 110 (1 runs). KBOTW: 338-10, runrate=3.07 (1st Inn: 123-10)
Lead by 161 runs. (Alfie Allstars 300-10)
Wrack 27-7-57-3
Tau* 91 (149 balls

Sadly no miracle and Tau didn't manage to get his maiden century.  Now I need career best performances from my bowlers for a very unlikely victory.

GL Bazza.

Just lost my best bat, need to luck out another 9 to avoid the follow on, to make sure I don't lose.

Even if I don't avoid it I think it would be very unlucky for me to lose from here!

The other batsman responds with a 6 and a 4 in the next over. HAPPY DAYS!

End of Over 154 (10 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 474-7, runrate=3.08
Trail by 149 runs. (Avems Gooners 623-3 dec)

To put this into context, in the last game against him I scored 259-20 (although I may have set everyone to very attacking for a laugh Wink)

This will also be the first points he has dropped in FC this season.

Start of next over: 2 wickets...

Wish I set a declaration target of the follow on total now, would have lost him another point
