In 1976 I had a fight with Christy Moore (Irish Folk Singer) -- we declared it a draw and had a few pints after.

You've beaten 7 bells outta Christy Moore?

Duke, you've just gone from 'Legend' to 'Superhero'

I was once punched by Will Carling

I extracted revenge by squeezing his testicles

I better add that this was at the bottom of a big pile of rugby players in the rain.

He started it, honest

met cantona when he was sitting on a table near us outside a pub in manchester but he kept getting heckled from the stopped traffic so went inside, fortunately he forgot his jacket and i took it in to him like a starstruck schoolboy.

my mum once put a dent in the side of beckhams ferrari with the door of her £500 knackered fiesta.

I talked briefly with Jenson Button when he was driving in a test session in Formula Ford , the conversation went something like this

Me -  " Hi, good luck this year.  Is it hard to drive in these conditions " ( It was raining really, really hard at the time )
JB -  " thanks, no you get used to rain, it doesn't really bother me that much "
Me -  " ok, thanks.  I prefer it when it is dry , my sandwiches are easier to eat " ( I was eating a salad sandwitch that was getting soaked by the rain )
JB -  " Oh ok,................."  ( At this time he looked around for someone to come and save him from the nutter irritating him  Cheesy  )

He thought the protesters were hilarious... Now there's a man who changed the world... Dont think he played Cards though

I don't kiss and tell, so no names being dropped here, but back in the early 90s I kissed (on the lips, but no tongues!) someone who has now gone on to be a successful (oscar nominated) Hollywood actor Cheesy

Ramps and Fraser seriously disliked each other for ages (when he left Middlesex), no wonder it was competitive
