This team is made up of players who either played over this weekend or were avalible to be picked by McClaren and werent

                   Green

Johnson  Ferdinand  Terry  A Cole

Lennon Parker   Carrick     Walcott

        Heskey  A. Johnson

sub
robinson
dawson
woodgate
upson
carragher
hargreaves
jenas
barton
ashton

Ok so its not the first choice of teams but just amazes me the number of them who were out injured but managed to start for there clubs by the weekend

Agreed, always baffles me how so many are injured on the Wednesday and are miraculously playing 90 minutes three days later

The reason why i included Carragher is that he was physically avalible it was because of McClaren that he chose to make himself unavalible.
Maybe he will change his mind for the new manager.

Is there anyone else i have missed out     i tried to leave the under -21s alone

Well, seeing as you've included Johnson, there's also Parker, Etherington, Smith, James - and probably others.

I included Parker in the starting XI
I left James out as he was understudy to Carson whereas Robinson wasnt even on the bench.
Ill except Smith but not etherington
