I've heard afew rumours today that Spurs are the next club to be lined up by a foreign investor.

Surely now Spurs are the primary target for an overseas super rich investor as Man U, Chelsea and Liverpool have been sold and Arsenal wont be selling anytime soon.

Surely a new owner will be better than the farce that is the current Spurs board?

Newcastle.

They haven't won a meaning full trophy since the 50's and have been in the 2nd division a for a few years.

Spurs have only spent 1 season in the 2nd tier in 57 years and have won 10 trophies since Newcastle last won a decent trophy.

*Disclaimer*

Newcastle won the Inter to-to trophy (joint winners) a few seasons ago  and they won the Fairs Cup in 1969 when it was an invite only competition.

If Spurs were bought out by a Billionaire then that would be great.

Actually we were the outright winners of the inter to to as well as being joint winners previously.

The Champions league is an invite only competition - so the fairs cup counts!

Newcastle face a far greater challenge in terms of logistics to attract big players and have only really recently had resources to match Spurs.

Over the past 15 years Newcastle have been more successful than Spurs. Unquestionably. In League finishes and European football there is no comparison.

The Champions League has a qualification process. The Fairs Cup was like the Peace Cup back then!
