Redsimon are you talking about the VC poker cup and 25 bb's?

Good one royal. Yes John Shoreman wrote something somewhere. That might prompt me to find the link..was beginning to think I'd dreamt it. I do have weird dreams! Cheesy

Yeah it was Jon Shoreman who started it all off.

I thought it would be the first step on the road to levels sorted by players and not time, but alas it appears not.

an EXCELLENT and positive move in the RIGHT direction young robert. - i have been away and missed the voting but 20 would have been my tick.  I know i have been moaning for ever about this to you and i really hope the results of this pole will help you get changes made whereby we get some more of those lovely clay imitation plastic chips to riffle (if only i could be bothered to learn) :-)

now.... who said something about banning smoking?....

I moaned about the somke after playing two Tourneys on sunday. I played last night aswell and the accululation of the two sessions actually had me up in the night being sick. It's not just 'a bit' smokey it's really bad. I'm starting to have mixed feelings before i go. I hate the thought of not playing live once a week and Notts is closest to me by a considerable margin but the thought of 5 hours in that smokey room fills me with dread. anyone fancy signing a petition?
