A smart man would say, "Thank you, Dealer" to completely direct the attention away from themselves and onto an innocent party.

I am always amused when that comment is made, and it's usually just before something clicks in my head.

Another great read, thanks Jim. Keep it coming please, poker & non-poker.

I'm particularly interested in your Cat, & the plans to get it across to Vegas. The "4 hour stopover" idea sounds bad to me. A picture would be nice, too, either here, or on your Blog.

Just read it Jim, terrific stuff, I'm almost jealous. Correction - I AM jealous! I'd love to try it, though I'd miss the British countryside & wildife so much, & a few special friends, & I'm not a fan of Vegas as a Town. But jeez, it does sound tempting!

Cat is all sorted

she is flying continental   i know your not a fan of this route but i got told of how she is looked after during her stopover. she gets cleaned fed watered and exercised, i know it will be a hard 24 hrs for her but hopefully worth it for all of us longterm

I know what you mean about Vegas as a city but wait till i get you away from the strip where i live in Summerlin is really nice and you will love the  mountains near our house. Can you believe there is a ski resort 45 min from our house. There is plenty of good wildlife around as well. you will need a whole new book to look the birds up in

im not even going to mention the venetian festival to you

Venetian Fessie....drool. I'd just LOVE to play that baby.

Now, pack it in, I don't want to be put to a decision!
