i think this is a great example that 12 months is a long time in poker! here are two results from the grosvenor in brighton around 12 months apart

Place Name Prize
1 Dave Smith (United Kingdom) £95,100
2 Neil Carr (United Kingdom) £50,300
3 Rajesh Modhal (United Kingdom) £33,600
4 Albert Sapiano (United Kingdom) £24,400
5 Roberto Romanello (Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom) £18,300
6 Mazhar Nawab (Sheffield, England, United Kingdom) £15,200
7 James Dempsey AKA "Flushy" (Brighton, United Kingdom) £12,200
8 John Exley (United Kingdom) £9,200
9 Barney Boatman (Hendon, United Kingdom) £6,100

Is this like a "well"-style thread except we can all throw insults down the well at flushy?

What a great idea!

Ok, my first question is...nevermind the buyin differential over 12 months, after gettin pwned by the honey monster in Brighton, how did you find the balls to show your face on the live scene again?

2nd question. At one time you were known as Europe's foremost bubble dodger. When you started your live career you tore into the european circuit with gusto, putting together an impressive string of "just-in-the-money" places...In fact one of your results shows such keen bubble dodging you even managed to win LESS than your initial buyin! Top notch!

( 01-Oct-05         England         £ 500 Main Event - No Limit Hold'em SportingOdds.com London Poker Masters, London    14th    £ 500    $ 886
08-Aug-05    England    £ 200 No Limit Hold'em Grosvenor UK Open Poker Championship 2005, Luton    12th    £ 200    $ 355
17-May-05    Spain    € 300 Limit Hold'em Freezeout 2005 World Heads Up Poker Championships, Barcelona    18th    € 500    $ 631
11-May-05    France    € 300 No Limit Hold'em Paris Open of Poker 2005, Paris    13th    € 510    $ 654
10-May-05    France    € 200 No Limit Hold'em Paris Open of Poker 2005, Paris    18th    € 150    $ 192
03-May-05    England    £ 300 No Limit Hold'em Shootout Blackpool Bonanza, Blackpool    14th    £ 600    $ 1,144)

You then spoilt things somewhat by actually winning a few tournaments. Does this 9th place finish show you are back to your former, keen, memorable bubble dodging ways?

Ignore the haters I say.

Good well.

Buy-in: £5
Prize Pool: £1,175
Entries: 55
Rebuys: 180

I was in Brighton on Sunday for the APAT regional, and phoned Flushy while I was there .. He confessed to playing the £5 rebuy comp, he also confessed to having a high % of the 180 rebuys, he was shoving blind every hand, in fact truth be told, he would have had to come 1st AND 2nd to have made a profit LOLOL
I remember about 3 years ago at Walsall's friday night 5 quid chipfest I had 23 consecutive rebuys, allin every hand till I won a pot. LOL.Oh the good old days of the Analmob.
Cant remember if I had an addon though.
I think Red Dog was playing in the tourny too
