Beetroot & pineapple, mushrooms & tinned toms, fresh fish, oxo cubes, poachies, tons of fruit. Job done.

Tom was hungry last night, kept whining "I must eat, I must eat", so I showed him the contents of my healthy fridge, & offered to cook for him.

"Lets go to Macdonalds, KFC, or the chippie" he snap replied.

Thanks to your pre-Vegas posts, I'm on it and you're right.  Well, minus the tinned toms.  I prefer mine fresh off the vine.

It is easy from here on in. Get the head in the right place, watch the weight fall off, buy clothes that fit comfy, feel better, eat better, enjoy eating better, winner winner all the way.

I'm currently heading north, eating stupid bad, & I am about ready to get back into sensible eating mode. Just for 6 weeks, like.

My head is there but to make it interesting, Jack and I have a prop bet going with the weight loss challenge as well.  Whoever loses the biggest percentage of weight in 12 weeks is declared the winner.  The 'loser' has to get a tattoo of the winner's favourite rugby club.  Neither of us has any tattoos at the minute, so this is serious business.  I reckon Jack will look grand with Munster on him.

The difficult part is having visitors.  I'd a cousin here for a quick stop before his flight back to America this week-end.  That meant a night at the pub and a meal out on Sunday, so I'm really happy to have managed any loss at all really.  That said, I stayed away from pints and wine in the pub and we walked all around Bradgate Park on Sunday to cover the meal.  

Our dog is loving it!  Archie's getting more walks than usual and reckons he's hit the lotto.

In other news...if it's not ants, it's fkn thunder flies! 

Just when I thought I'd found some peace from ant invasions, the thunder flies have come out to play.  It's got so bad, I'm even swatting at things that aren't there.  They stick to tanning oil too.  Sigh.

Think I'd rather your gophers.
