Loving the new diary format Tom. Well done riding 100 miles with the mileage you have on the clock.
Mrs Red has kept a diary for years, it's full of life's trivia. The old entries are really interesting now, and I thought, wouldn't it be great to have something like that with pictures?
It's so easy these days. Take a snap, add the date and a caption and in 10 / 20 years it will be fascinating. (To me at least).
I have a thread on Voyage in Poker forum from the day Gracie my granddaughter was born, mostly pictures. It's good to look back and see her growing up over the years. 7 this December, flown by so quick.

She's sleeping over on Saturday and Cal is up from London for the weekend so going to be a busy one. Itinerary is as follows. Friday Thai restaurant with the boys. Saturday Golf with Cal. Gracie over later on Saturday so basically whatever she wants to do after that.

I'd love to delve into Mrs. Red's diary. I bet it's fascinating especially 70/80's stuff.

What do they call that referee that looks like a cyborg?
Pierluigi Collina?

My wife always referred to him as 'Scary Ref'

Once David had told me his name I read his wiki, and very interesting it was too.

Read the meter.
Ever since I signed up with EON online a couple of years ago, they've been asking me to read my own meter and send them the info. I like this arrangement. It saves them a job and It means I don't get strangers rolling up unannounced.
When I first moved on to this field, about 14 years ago, I wanted an electricity supply but before I could have one, the electricity board wanted somewhere to install their meter. I didn't want it in my caravan so I built what we now refer to as 'The lectric box'.
Actually, my dad was visiting for the day and he helped me with it so I should say
we
built the lectric box.
We made it 4ft wide by 2ft deep so that we could use two paving slabs for the roof, and we cut a piece of plywood from an old sheet to make a door.
When it was finished it was the only bricks and mortar thing on the place. It stuck out like a sore thumb and I hated it.
Nevertheless, it did it's job and over time, nature worked her magic. Today it looks like it's been there for ever. The Incas could have built it.
I love it now, and it reminds me of my dad.

Time must also have allowed nature to work her magic on the latch. It fell off in my hand.

Mrs Red & I went to the Mill on the Soar for a burger and a pint. (£10 for two) and then on to the Odeon at Freemans Park to see a film. (Super Tuesday, £10 for two)
We saw The Devil's Knot, or, as I now refer to it, The Devil's Snot.
It was utter drivel, which surprised me no end. It should have been good, its a true story with a great cast.

Looking back at this picture, it seem like nature has worked her magic on my thumb too.
WTF is going on there?
