Yeah, it's god-proof. We're keeping the numbers down, so only close friends and family - he's not on the list.

On Christmas eve, I surprised myself by buying a crossbreed dog. It is the most expensive dog I have ever bought by some distance.

I'm not going to write about it, (although I obv want to) but I will be glad to provide short answers to specific questions..

I'm hoping this tactic will coerce someone into interacting with my diary.

Definitely more info and pictures please, at least give us a name. I am somewhat surprised that you would buy a dog, I would have had you down as a man with so many connections that you would just be given them.

Cocker spaniel and poodle. Universally, (and disappointingly imo) known as a cockerpoo.



EDIT: In this particular case it was a golden cocker spaniel and an apricot toy poodle.

why did you decide to get another dog?

I think cockerpoos are the perfect all-round dog.

By and large they have fantastic temperaments, they're hardy and robust, are convenient size, don't shed, are extremely intelligent, full of character and are very biddable.


A friend of mine bought this particular dog (bitch actually) as a puppy about eight months ago. I knew straight away she was something out of the ordinary, every time I saw her she impressed me. The more I saw of her, the more I wanted her.

I love lurchers, but if I were to allow myself to be tempted I would soon be out hunting again, and then I would be in trouble before you could say magistrate's court.

There's a strong feeling in the hunting set that the dog hunting law is due to be repealed (depends if the Tories stay in power). Although you'd need hunting permission then as well to keep you out of court...
