Tom,
I cant beleive you have neglected to tell the world about a far greater play made at DTD on the £1/£2 cash game which was witnessed by a small crowd in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday night!
It takes a specific skill to ensure that  three clubs is played in such a way that it will outdraw your flopped pair and flush draw with the case  on the river after semi-thoughtess pot-sized bets!!!

wp sir, nh, gg, ty etc etc. Cheesy

If you want to tell them how I called your bluff with my 2nd pair, only for you to suck out on the river by hitting the case king to win a £500 pot, you're welcome to do so, but I suspect that you will be too embarassed.

The best programme theme tune by a country mile was the one for Monkey Magic. What a show that was. Can someone post that vid? When monkey burst out of the egg and the music started all my mates would start jumping round the room fighting each other....until of course we heard the word "spunky"...where we would all immediately fall around laughing.

Big Deal was wicked as well. Wasn't that the guy who did Mr. Ben...and then went on to marry Pauline Fowler?

This is the lovely Rachel from DTD. I think she is carrying a bit of a torch for me, which is understandable I suppose. She doesn't realise that I'm old enough to be her... er... older bother.

She looks fantastic in that wig, but I wonder what her real hair is like?

OK I'll tell her, but I don't agree with your suggestion that judging by the player Next to her, she's just dropped one.

That's the one!!! Monkey Magic was soooo wicked.

I always thought they said he was the spunkiest monkey around....but the clip with the subtitles says he was the punkiest monkey. What's a punky monkey? There's another website that says funky monkey....but I'm sure it was spunky monkey. You see the second verse goes....."What a cocky, saucey Monkey this one is".....and that seems to fit better with spunk than punk wouldn't you say? Therein though lies the true beauty of Japenese dubbing. If you've never watched it Red you should.

my abiding memory of last weeks trip to DTD was at the final table on the saturday when attempting an early position steal, I thought everyone had folded and was in the process of chucking my cards in (with great relief) - almost as if he read my mind and put her hand up to stop me, while saying, quite forcefully... "one more player to act sir !".

saved me a packet that did Smiley

When channel 4 showed American football back in the 80's they had Holding out for a hero by Bonnie Tyler as the theme tune.  Friggin briwyant it was.  Sunday nights, last programme I was allowed to watch of the weekend before bed and then school the next day.  They'd also use Two Tribes by Frankie Goes to Hollywood when they did the round ups at the end I think.

Sing along if you know the words
