Happy Christmas tom, and to the rest of the mcreddogs x

Vinny. I have absolutely no idea what's happening in your life these days. Can I have a brief update please?

I've just realised that you are the only person I know who's head would look exactly the same if it were on upside down.

Happy new year to you and all the Nandonians.

Smiley

As brief as i can.

I'm living in Malta at the moment Tom. I've been here two months, and we are loving it. Spent most of this afternoon in a playground with Archie, who is now 2.5. It was sunny all day, and quite warm. That's it really. Spent two years back in Scotland after leaving London, but always wanted to try Malta to see if I could live here. Not sure how long we'll be here, but hopefully a fairly long time.

Happy Christmas Mr. Mrs. Red and family. Hope 2017 is good to you all. Love Kev, Joo and family.

I've not been to DTD for over 2 years but plan to go start going again next year, hope to see you there.

Merry Christmas to you and yours too Kev.

How's business, have you retired yet?

How old is that little one, Gracie was it? Has the newness worn off yet?

Do you still play much poker?

I was toying with the idea of going to DTD over the holidays but I might be too fat.

Have a good 2017.

Best year ever, no retirement for me though, I (we) spend too much travelling.

Gracie was 9 on 20th. Took her to the Panto on 22nd. She's a bright kid and a pleasure to have around, wish she was around more often.

Played less poker this year since I started. Intend to play more next year. Sometimes I just can't be arsed to get in the car.

BTW I'm off on my hols tomorrow. I know you don't use Facebook so if you're interested I will be blogging it on the same forum as last year.

Hope 2017 is amazing for you all. x

I enjoyed this. The presentation was a bit "Are you sitting comfortably?" but the facts and visuals were staggering.

I was watching a news item about that astronaut who just popped his clogs and it got me thinking about space suits.

How come a space suit is all soft and wrinkly? In a total vacuum, you would think that it would be stretched out like a balloon. The forces must be immense.

In a vacuum?  Isn't it the opposite?

No. The pressure inside the suit would be trying to expand to fill the vacuum wouldn't it?

Meh, looks like a con to me.

I think the Apollo programme was just a front so that they could syphon money off to spend on nuclear weapons.

I mean, as if we could land on the moon, have a stroll around and then take off again, connect with an orbiting ship and return to Earth. It's ridiculous.
