Has anyone ever seen sugar cane for sale before? I haven't.

What do you do with it? (Decent answers only please)

Never seen it to buy, but you basically chew on it, unsurprisingly tastes like sugar.
At primary school many, many years ago, one of the kids in class had a relative bring some back from holiday and she brought it into class to share with everyone

Had friends with a patch of it in their garden as a kid, liked to visit as their dad would cut a cane and share it out among us, like Vegalslover says, just tastes of sugar.

I know (via the internet) a guy who refined his own sugar from home grown sugar beets, they don't taste as nice as sugar cane from what he said.

Can't you squeeze sugar cane through a mangle thing and get juice.  Sure I saw videos of this back in the day.

I don't know if many would have seen this, but people used to push this effective giving charity at the WSOP.   Seems they have scaled up a bit from trying to get 1% from me.  Sounds like very good work if true, and I hope it is a massive success.   My view of Elon Musk seems to swing wildly week to week.

It ferments rather well - I remember being introduced to Wray&Nephew some years ago which led to a cup of goat's head soup at silly o'clock..

Amazon get right up my conk for this.

They ambush your search and then when you click on the ad it gives you all the details and say, "Currently Unavailable"

Does anyone even have access to a mangle these days?

See them at the hand car wash places quite a lot for squeezing out the chamois.

Which brings about a question. What's the plural of chamois?

I'm guessing same spelling different pronunciation?

Is chamois even a word if it isn't followed by 'leather'?

No Googling please, I can do that do myself.

going to guess put an x on the end and pronounce it sham waz.  Don't really know how to do plurals in French, it is too long ago since I learned it.  In English is it shammies?

I will be googling after just for interest.

It's a type of alpine goat which had a very soft leather.
