I think the approach to this thing so far is kinda mad. I'd be much more interested to see regular contributers to the forum do a well - than English pros that interact rarely with the people that read; use and add to blondepoker.

Flushy; Jen Mason; Tikkay; Alex Martin; Longy etc, etc please.

Yep I agree...

you kidding?

Hell no he isn't. (or I hope he isn't) Flushy, whatever you think of him (though I like him) , is a profitable MTT player. The guy does well for himself (from what I understand, I don't know the numbers and don't actually care all that much about the exact numbers), has gone through the ranks from small stakes to higher stakes pro-poker and will no doubt have some interesting things to say.
He might get a lot of stick on here being called a fish...and a lousy dresser... but when he did the HOTW they were always good hands that can teach you a thing or two if you bother to put in the time and effort. He will never be a UN ambassador or be as dimplomatic as Kofi Annan but you have to respect the guy for his poker skills and his opinions can not easily be ignored by those who actually want to learn how to play the game profitably. I sure as hell became a better player thanks to all the stick Flushy and Tank used to give me when I first posted on here...I just paid attention and thought about what they had to say rather than discard an opinion because I didn't like it. (or because he might have been a bit short)

Now look what you've made me do!..you made me feel all dirty!

yes and dirty is what you are Smiley  you are very skilled in the old ass kissing Smiley oh and i hope i didnt come across as not liking flushy? Hes a god! Just dont ask him to explain anything  Smiley

I agree with throwing flushy down a well.

I think moorman would be a great candidate. He's now one of the world's top internet mtt players, he's blonde, he writes interestingly and he would have an interesting take on live v internet having breached both arenas. Plus he won the 5k winner takes all comp recently so he will be in the mood for a bit of chirping no doubt.

And it will give me an opportunity to finally photoshop donkey ears onto him publically.

Pab would also be good.

I think that in addition to having a primarily poker-focused Well (which covers other stuff as well, but picks people mostly because of their poker knowledge) I think there should be another Well, which is focused on other things.

There are a lot of interesting people on here who I'm sure we'd like to ask questions of/read about what they have to say on topics, but who are not at the top of the poker tree. Tikay's and Red-Dog's Vegas/Vagueness threads are a bit like that and they are very good reads.

Not that I'm casting aspersions on the quality of either of their poker games.

Except for Tikay, who I am.

Have to say I agree with Lloyd. If we can score the odd famous mtt pro, all the better. In the interim if we stick to regular blonde posters who are likely to do an interesting well, that seems to be the way to go.

Any of the following would be good imo: Flushy, Pab, Moorman, Lloyd, Alex Martin and to be honest any regular blonde poster. It doesn't necessarily have to be about poker strategy, just someone with something interesting to say.

I agree, but keep it to some sort of poker strategy. If you wanna read what they have to say (a la TJ or Red) then most of these people do have blogs!

Why the hell is Alex Martin being thrown in the mix? He is shockingly awful.

Thats a good shout imo, it would be nice to hear the differing ways that regular people got into and play poker.
