This month I need to improve.

I'm going to read the Harrington on Hold 'em books.

I need to get better at cash games.  I seem to be losing recently (only cheap games) after a nice winning streak - I do something wrong and cant compete with all the aggressive just betting no matter what hands you have tactic.

And I'd like to get some more cash in my account!

My targets are -

1) to finally win my first MTT torni after final tabling 13 out of the last 20

2) To try and win a sea via a sattelite for a biggy, and then do the above in the torni itself

3) to find out the sex of my unborn baby, so that I can paint the nursery

2.Get some more european tour points.

3.Avoid a fit of vanity and have 'the tank' printed on the back of a couple of my poker t-shirts.

4.Show any kind of +ve net result from live omaha cash

Buy and read harington book 2

Avoid getting knocked out of the blonde tourney to a slowplayed AA AGAIN!

Maintain a top 8 place in my local tourney (top 8 playoff after end of year, plastic trophy whoo hoo!)

Make sure I play in the Nov Cheesey game. (missed the last few but love it when I play)

That's it really. I am also looking to play in my first festival game at Luton in december the monday £200 I guess for a taster.

I don't think so either. If you play Sng's and have a decent roll of about 20 buy-ins it's certainly not outwith the realms of possibility to double your roll in a week, let alone a month.

In limit cash a roll of 300BB could be doubled in 100-200 hours decent play. When I played exclusively online I put in about 45hrs a week so would expect to double my roll every month.

If you were to double ur bankrol over 1 month, would that not mean you are playing outside your bankroll?

When I was building my roll/working my way up the limits I played one at a time and found 20 to be plenty. (excuse the rhyme)
Yes I had bad runs, when I dropped to 10 or so I'd move back down a limit for a bit. Nowadays I keep around 40 buy-ins in the online roll as moving down online isn't something I plan to have to do. Breaking into the live game now having fun trying to build that roll.

My worst run was losing 200BB in 2 days playing 15/30 at Party
Switched back to tournaments and have been there ever since.

1) To improve by reading and applying Harrington on Hold Em.

2) To enter a festival for at least one of the freezeout events.

3) To do well in said festival event.

4) To buy in to the main event after doing well in said earlier festival event.

5) Pray to god for a dream trebble up in said main event and limp into 8th spot and get some ranking points.

Okay, I'll wake up. COFFEE PLEASE.

When every body has read and put "Harrington" into pratice, what will NLHE tournies be like? Easier to beat?
