Joes Edge?

Put in a poorish performance at Cheltenham, and there is no doubting that the horse can jump these fences and go well, I think he may be ok at the weights given his last few races and watching him go round Cheltenham he looked as if he was given an easy time by Nina.

Joes Edge scraped a Scottish National and has done nothing since. He is low in the weights (needs about 10 horses to come out of the national or he won't get in..but that shold happen) but is also 11 years old now and has no improvement left. He's rated about 20 lbs less than any of the last 5 winners. Sometimes a crap horse being given an easy ride is just that...a crap hopeless case.

So you don't think Joe's Edge has a chance then?

Another I like the look of is King Johns Castle - could be some valoo in that at 40/1 I think it will place if it runs.

God help me mate but I think you've found some value there! 40-1 is indeed way too big for this one. Aintree has been his target for a while. His weight should ensure he gets in and his for makes him look like a solid stayer who will jump. This is typically the sort of horse the Irish go nuts over the week before the national.

In fact the only thing that could stop this horse from winning could be you backing it. Wink

Right here's the deal everyone sends me £10 I stick a £5 on every horse declared bar King Johns Castle and the rest of you lump in at 40/1 and feel free to send me a % when it wins Smiley

Price is even shorter now.

If nothing else you've got good value.

Saw it mentioned in The Sun today, into 16s.  McCoy likely to be onboard.
