Crazy, crazy Ludovic Lacay and Sylvester Geoghan

Just officially announced that with there only being 352 players today, so PaddyPower have actually had to add around €200k to the prizepool to make the €3 milllion guarantee.

Mr Rutter is currently sharing a table with fellow Englishmen Ryan Fronda (born and bred) and Andreas Hoivold (born but not bred; nevertheless I like him and I'm claiming him as one of ours):

Jim Reid just bet 3,000 on a river of a board against John McGill, a bit of a dwell from the man in red, but he made the call, only to muck when Jim turns over for the nuts.

LuckyLloyd. He's quit his job, but doesn't like the fact that we refer to him now as a 'professional poker player', so instead here's 'poker pro' Lloyd O'Farrell.

Might have had better numbers if the price was not jacked up from €3500 to €4500. EPT & PPP Irish Open have both hopefully learned that there is a limit,

Any news on the start Thew has had?

Slowly but going in the right direction so far, and he's already had Aces and Kings.

I think also that Ireland tends to now have the best structured comps around these days and that you could probably find a €500/€1000 event with a better structure than this one these days. This is probably the same reason for why the EPT Dublin event wasn't as popular either.

Thanks.
