Just packed and on the way to Liverpool for the game tomorrow. I thought  I would set up this thread for Kinboshi to congratulate Citeh on a fine win tomorrow.

A better choice.  Didn't expect us to win at all, but the woeful first half performance and lack of any defensive qualities were even beyond my expectations.  We're only 6 or so players short of being a decent side though...

You might be right.  I was including the players who are out injured or suspended at the moment as well though.  We also need to replace Barrett next season.

When he's on form there aren't many better.  He's not set the world on fire this season though.   Maybe we'll not replace him with another 'star' but use the money (and the salary it will release from the salary cap) to get two or three 'decent' players in.

He's been very disappointing.  Last season he wasn't fit, and then his mum died and he had other problems - so his lack of form was understandable.   This year I don't know what his excuse is.  If he plays at 60% of what he can do he'd be good enough.  Unfortunately he's not close to that at the moment.  In fact, the only player who is consistently putting in top-notch performances (and he did last year too) is Pat Richards.
