I've been giving some thought as to how I'll do the Data Transfer to the new Server.
I need to change the dns etc. At this stage I'd also like to do some db optimisations for the forum which will probably take several hours.
DNS should be fully propogated within 24 hours and we're back up and running.
Just need to sort out details to allow access before the dns has switched - maybe use the .org interface or setup a temp sub-filter of .com
That should sort it. I'll multi-Table some $20-$40 whilst doing it, jut to keep my hand in.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
What worries me is that I understood all that - does that make me a geek?
