Compo on the Nags
«
on:
May 28, 2008, 09:33:25 PM »
Darren likes a flutter on the horses but for me, listening to the presenters usualy drives me mad, however tonight the compare is Compo, his voice is just so ..don't know the right word really , but easy listening maybe. No piercing high tones etc. Thanks Compo for making my Wednesday night tollerable as usually I am pulling at my locks.

I love ATR..if they did more good courses they would be better though. Compo and Mark are my favourite presenters on there...though they both can't tip a winner to save their life.

My best win on the horses was a 50p placepot at Newmarket, I used to always do these bets on a Saturday for a bit of fun at a £1each, but thought nahh just 50p will do. I won £3754.65p. I still have a copy of it. Hardly ever done one since.
Trying to lookat the date but it is a bit faded now. I reckion it was at least 9 yrs back.
