And now Pique is worth 13m after I bought him for 4m. And Chico cost me 400k but could prob get £5m for him. Similar with Altidore.

I have been struggling to make much progress with Chesterfield. Starting first XI had an average 74 rating, I had £2m to spend and 11,500 capacity means revenue rarely exceeds weekly costs
Thinking long term I went for youth and that is just beginning to pay off
Michael Morrison was bought for £20k from Cambridge at 69 as in real life Leicester had just signed him and he was in the first team, and went to 75 and £500k
Jack Rodwell was a 72, bought for £200k, promptly got games in the Everton 1st team and now is 78 worth £2m, and still only 17yo
Jean Callejon a striker for Espanyol was 72 rated and today has gone up to 80, which puts him straight into the first team!
My biggest purchase Ion Velez has gone from 78 to 83 too.
No way can I compete with the Huddersfield's in the league but I am hopeful of a run to the play offs next season.

ffs. niemi announced his retirement early in the season so 2 weeks ago I sold him and was lucky enough to get what I paid for him. canizares came in to replace him and all is good until this morning when he decides he's going to retire too so I need to find yet another 1st team keeper for next season

Yeah, we've blatantly been reading the same threads! I had a few bids in for players in Spain and Portugal and before they were accepted their ratings got increased, cost me around £8 million I reckon. Have had some decent increases this week though and throughout the season, my player turnover has been ridiculous though, I think i've got one player left who started the game at Yeovil. |
