Pretty obvious that Spurs have been busiest club so far both in the sense of completed transfers and rumours. Dos Santos and Modric signed up with rumours of Gomes, Veloso, Bentley and Garcia.

Today Man City agreed a fee of £19m for Jo from CSKA Moskow - not too sure about that one, anyone seen much of him?

And Bolton seem to have paid £10m for Swedish striker Elmander, seems a bit pricey to me.

Any other significant done deals or speculation?

I remember when a £1m transfer was huge news.

Now clubs are paying £19m for players I've never heard of.

EDIT: - but obviously someone whoever is managing Sunderland in the SM game has heard of - good buy.

That's LeKnave but I think Rich or Horneris will be claiming the credit as chief scouts.

Is Gomes any good? TBH I don't watch much of Eredivisie but he has impressive stats whilst at PSV.

Norwich have signed Sammy Clingan and Wes Hollahan, the championship clubs must be crapping themselves, sigh. We also managed to miss out on player, who signed for Barnsley, Ian hume from Leicester, any good tighty?

It will be a minor miracle if we finish top half next year. We have got progressively worse every year for 5 season now.

Few bits of news today.

Sevilla turned down a bid from Spurs for Diego Capel. He's meant to have a release clause in his contract but Sevilla are claiming that it only valid if it is a Spanish club that bid.

Isaksson linked with boldie's PSV.

Wigan sign De Ridder from Birmingham.

Ben Sahar has joined Pompey on loan from Chelsea, seemingly a future star.

Any rumours in today's papers?

Yes..Spurs will have a good one in him, we shall miss him at PSV.

Isakkson coming to PSV appears to be a done deal as well, if you believe the papers..don't really know anything about him though.

Swedish No.1 for a couple of seasons but only Man.C.'s No.3 behind Hart and Smichel(sp)

happy to have him if he's half decent..seems a choice between him and an older Dutch goalie...

C Palace have signed Nicky Carle from Bristol City for £1 million.

Alright i know its not big news for all you Prem superstars, but for me it is a great signing.  Cant wait for the start of the season.

Agree - Isaakson is a very decent keeper.
