Arsenal forum seems to suggest 35% or a £4.25m cap. Respected poster, club connections.

A good signing in Bischoff for us today as well, another for the future though - please buy a CB Mr Wenger and one for today, not 3 years time.

Yeah, more believable with the cap.

Bischoff will play Nak. His agent let slip a while back that Wenger has told him he'll be in the first team from the off.

What you'd give for another Sol Campbell right now though eh?

He wontplay for at least 3 months as he is currently injuried.

And I beleive the 40% sell on clause on Bentley is correct and also from what I have been told there is no cap. shib the £6m-£7m Spurs, LOL

Arshavin signs for Spurs.

Spell check doesnt work. Sad

Please do remember Nem that some dodgy players have been signed after a couple of good games in the Euros.

Gerry Armstrong for one Wink and Luther (miss it) Blisset for another.

Bentley is a good signing for Spurs.

agree...Liverpool should have gone for him in preference to Barry

I agree Bentley is better than Benayoun/Pennant and even Babel, but with those already there he's not a player I think Rafa would target...

No one seems to like Babel - I think he'll be a world beater in a year or two.

Talented for sure but from what I have seen he seems to lack bottle.

He's not a fan of tracking back and mucking in at all but he's improved.

Good attacking attributes though, pace, power, can beat a man, a little trickery, sizzling shot and not bad at finishing.

Got to agree though. His head goes down very easily - he never seems up for the massive games. Hopefully it'll come.

Thats what happens when you play a centre forward as a winger.

Madjid Bougherra is set to play Champions League football this season after leaving Charlton for Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers in a £2.5m deal on Thursday night.

The Algerian international leaves The Valley a year and a half after arriving from Sheffield Wednesday for the same sum three days before the end of the January 2007 transfer window.

unsure how I feel about him leaving tbh, hopefully means we get to keep zheng zhi though.

should do a job at rangers if they want to play the same way in europe again, a proper no nonsense CB

At Wednesday he was like Rio Ferdinand with a tiny hint of Fabien Barthez.
A great footballing centre half but can over do it sometimes and get himself into trouble. Usually has the pace to get himself out of it though.

Van Der Vaart has gone to Real for £7mil.
I don't know how this didn't turn into a battle for his signature. At that price all the big teams should have been interested.
Half the price of Arshavin and younger.

He could leave Hamburg for €1.5million next season, hence his ridiculous fee.
