just back from Ebbsfleet v Charlton. Darius Charles put Charlton ahead with a beautifully taken own goal after 14 seconds. anyone seen any quicker?

to make things worse this was on his first appearance for the club and was his first touch

There was a Celtic player (Willie Garner) who I'm told scored 2 OG's on his debut. I think he only played 3 games for Celtic.

we had a similar situation but with a very different outcome at Charlton but I can't for the life of me remember who it was at the moment. player scored an own goal on each of his first 2 appearances but then went on to make hundreds of appearances and become a legend at the club. think it was either Gary Nelson or Stuart Balmer
