I lost my temper too, although not at anyone at the table, just at myself.  Last year and reasonably new to live poker I entered the Glasgow Poker Tournament £25 + £2.50 rebuy NLHE, top 10 got a £500 entry to the main event, 11th got £350 or thereabouts.  There were 88 starters.

Sat in same seat for 5 hours, 13 of us left and I have 15k chips, 6 players at my table and I'm about to hit the BB, blinds are 1k/2k.  I was 2nd chip leader at my table and one guy only had 400 chips left.  I say to myself, no matter what two cards I get, I will pass if I'm raised and fold to get the money.  So, action goes round, chip lead raises 2k ( he has about 18k chips) and everyone, including the 400 folds to me, I look down at TT and go against my head and call the 2k raise.  Flop A83.

I check, chip leader raises 2k (still min bet), I am worried about the Ace, and decide that it's not worth it, but although I'm saying don't call, I decide to call anyway.  Turn comes a 5, I check, chip lead raises another 2k.  I think about it for a few min and and look at my remaining 7k and go all-in.  He calls and flips over AK and I am gutted.  One card to come and I'm so annoyed at myself that I throw my cards into the middle of the table face up and start to leave. (I wasn't annoyed at any player, as it was my bad play that screwed me, I just wanted to get the hell out of there). The dealer reminds me that the river has still to come, somewhat prolonging my agony.  I get to see the river which gives a blank and I'm out in 13th.  I was pretty embarrassed at throwing the cards, although I probably thought it was worse than it was.  No-one else seemed to notice.

I haven't done that since... :-)
