Wow, that's a quality field - not much value -there - but a bundle of fun.

Neil Giblin, by the way, is "jakally". I think.

You are correct.  Neil is our very own jakally.

A few other bits of photographic evidence that I'm not just making this up from home.

Jon "Superstar" Lundy and Andrew Andreou. Ahhh.

Paul Jackson, brain possibly not quite yet engaging with surroundings:

Pete Linton, Richard Stanley and Rick "One Hair Product Away From An Afro" Trigg:

We're a man down, but sadly he will have to remain anonymous as he appears to have slipped out of the backdoor. Not even the eagle eyes of Simon Trumper caught sight of our masked man.

73 remain, but I believe a few loose stragglers are still taking their seats.

If it helps I can probably shed some light on Paul's vacant expression. The poor lad took his seat upstairs on the flight home from Vegas to find himself sat next to a certain author of a couple of recent poker books. Not wishing to name names but the titles include the words Ghosts and a certain Devilfish. Must have been the longest journey for the poor chap and his current expression says it all!

Ol Brucie's at it again, this time more than matching the sharp tongue of his game-show hosting namesake. With the board reading Two Diamonds three clubs , Chris Bruce popped out a bet of 700 only for neighbour Michael Lee to make it a total of 2,700 play. Exhaling deeply and leaning back on his seat, a seemingly perplexed Bruce then fired out a sequence of verbal missiles that would have made the most stoic of opponents tap out and plead "No more!"

"This could be a total bluff"

"The tables dying for me to call"

"You don't talk much, do you?"

"It's not 4-5 is it?"

"Threes, twos?"

"Is that a bluff?"

"I hate being bluffed."

After talking the table into a deep slumber, Bruce eventually made the fold and showed the  . "Making a big laydown there."

Tapping the table... "Well played, whatever you had."

Another one down, and another one in late by the looks of it, as the official on-the-board runners number briefly dropped down to 72 before going back up to 73.

Our early exit was in the exact shape of Tony Nicholls. A gentleman raised to 225 in late position, called by the button. Marc Goodwin made it 1,000 from the small blind, and Nicholls in mid position made it All In for 6,175; the original raiser and the button immediately got out of the way. "Do you want me to call?" enquired Goodwin. "It's up to you, mate," replied Nicholls with an awesome show of absolute nonchalance. Nevertheless, call Goodwin did, and his was painfully ahead of Nicholls' . "I didn't think you'd call," said Nicholls, unnecessarily. I understand he'd slow-played Queens a few hands earlier...

Board: a roundly unsurprising two hearts, meaning that Nicholls is no more and Goodwin is running, er, well. Table Goodwin broke after that hand.

Excellent updater forethought taking this photo earlier today:

And now for something completely different. Here a are a few players that you may not have come across before, a long with the odd early chip count thrown in for good measure. As always, if you know anything about these players, let us know.

First up, young Tom Nightingale, currently on 9,600.
