Rookie i do the same, take aways most nights and i smoke. Me playing football twice a week kinda makes it allright (in my head)!
Thing is ive been eating rubbish ever since i went to uni, but i dont seem to put on any weight. Dont worry about it too much, just maybe ease up on maccy d's a bit.

I was the same at university - ate something and chips every night, washed down with pints of beer, did no exercise and had a 29 inch waist.

Then I hit 25/26 and it all changed.

I am 25/26.......

Time to start buying bigger trousers then. Smiley

My Dad isn't/wasn't overweight.  He did sport, didn't drink, smoked for 5-10 years but had given up before he was 30.  Still had a heart attack.  Something to do with the lipids increasing the susceptibility to heart disease - and these are genetically determined.  So I am genetically susceptible to heart disease, but I can watch what I eat to reduce the risk.

Ok then, fair enough... So doing what I am doing at the moment isn't good.

We've established that in the first few replies...

So, I ask, is there a healthy diet without eating healthy stuff!! I know what I eat now is wrong, but I don't do veg, fruit I only like a banana every now and again...

Help.
I have to ask...why don't you "do fruit and veg"?

i am the same, know i should eat a lot more fruit and veg,dont like salads , started eating a lot of stir fry stuff , very tasty , quick and a lot more healthy, few people i know have  a  pasta for there lunch.

People who don't like salads have just not had interesting salads. They had a bit of lettuce once and think 'Salads - yuk'.

A good salad is more tasty than many other meals.

Salads, yuk.

My stomach does not like them, I can't help but heave as i'm eating them. I hate tomato's, onions etcetc and the thought of them all mixed together is yuk

Ps, i dont smoke... I hate the idea of smoking, never touched a cig, but just figured that what I am doing in a similar way is just as bad and need to stop!

I get up, I don't normally eat breakfast... if I do it's Frosties.
Lunch, at work I have mcd's kfc and a sandwich bar within 2 mins away, and failing that gregs up the road.
Dinner, I either don't have anything or have Mild curry super noodles!

Pasta's aren't good for you i don't think unless you do loadsa excercise.I don't smoke as i have asthma but i do eat crappy foods everyday and do no excercise but hey,you gotta die of somethihg i suppose.Am thinking of getting a wii to do bit excercise,Then again i've been thinking of going 3 days living on just water and chewing gum(just for a challenge really) very unlikely i'll do either.

I don't eat ANY veg and I am allergic to fruit, I have smoked 40 a day for 25 years. At least 3 takeaways a week, and do not exercise.
Dad died of heart attack, mom from cancer.

In all seriousness I don't feel well either and have been thinking about changing my lifestyle, but I am just too bloody lazy. I even contemplated buying a Wii Fit for 10 minutes, but decided that i needed another sleeve of fags for the week instead

have u tried having salad mixed with something else?

like a large doner for instance.... kills the taste of the tomato.

Seriously tho rooks, fags are worse but health eating is important obv. ur still youmg enough to educate yourself to eat better.

i dont practise what i preach however, am over 16st, eat take aways / junk almost every day and smoke 20-30 fags a day.and my only exercise is walking to and from the car. I'm 35 and know i wont see a lot more years if i continue like this so will have to change. I may even start a diary on blonde..........

if you eat too much fruit your stomach will indeed hurt like hell.

You will need to take time to adjust your digestive system - start slowly.

One thing that has struck me at blonde bashes is just how very fat the forum is - far fatter than the general population.
