Both leads top class, esp Cameron Diaz, who's never been anything but quality in everything she's appeared in imo.

Have you seen The Box? She's dreadful in that.

was actually very very disapointed with the poon scene in piranha, would rather she was just lying on the front of the boat or summit

film was hurrendous but kelly looked nice

Thanks to my early APAT exit, I went to see The Girl Who Played With Fire on Sunday.  Was relieved to find it was the subtitled version rather than a lousy dubbed one.

Another good adaptation of the book.  Overall, I think it was a better film than the first one as it explains more of the background behind Salander's character, which is far more easily done in book form than on film.

It's pretty faithful to the book too, which means that the ending is just a precursor to the 3rd film, which follows straight on from this one chronologically.   Just got to hang on until November now to see it!

Still not sure how much these films will appeal to those who haven't already read the books.  Anyone watched either of them 'cold'?

If you haven't seen it don't watch to find out if Scotty is right. The whole thing is dreadful.

Heard such good things about this and for 2 hours did not notice any of those good things they mentioned... It made sense in the worse possible way. Agreed would happily of walked out after the first boyfriend started dancing!

Scott Pilgrim vs The World, film of the year bar none. Some great comedy moments, wacky, completely original and a great pace about it all.
Not often the local Cineworld is packed for a film like this. Word of mouth obv.

LOL at Kelly Brook trying to act again in Piranha.
Love the opening with Richard Dreyfuss on a boat and 'Show me the way to go home' on the radio.
Boo @ Cineworld charging an extra £1.50 and another 80p for glasses in digital 3D films. Monthly ticket my arse!

Scott Pilgrim

I must repeat.

Nice quirky characters, interesting concept....but if I see one more stupid fight scene for no purpose whatsoever.....

I just don't get the swooning over it
