Chilli got it all-in with Q-7....against A-K....and hit! She's up to about 16k now. Remaining members of the boyband, Horneris has about 7k and is still grinding forever. Chip Rich has 35k though and is looking comfortable.

Tales From Table Tikay

Yes, who'd've thunk it, Sir Kendall is still in, and full of things to say.

One thing he told was that there were six limpers on his big blind to which he thought, in his own words, "If only I could squeeze here but I've only got a little willy you see," so he checked it. The board came down X-9-T-J-Q, checked around all the way.

---------

Meanwhile, there are two limpers in the form of John Mcmillan and David Mundle, and Tikay makes up the blind. Mr Rick Trigg checks.

Flop:

Tikay checks, and Trigg bets out 1,200. Mcmillan makes it 3.5k and both Mundle and Tikay get out of the way. Trigg calls, and then bets out 5.5k on the three clubs turn, forcing Mcmillan to fold.

More interestingly though, during this exchange, Mr Trigg has taken delivery of a large, meaty sausage in a pair of plump buns. Insert captions, well, wherever you like. Shocked

Double up for Horneris, A-Q beating 9-9 and now up to 20k.

Brent, "I still flip good."

DTD Mini Festival Main Event Runner-Upper Mr Shahnawaz Randera raised preflop, and Stuart Langford reraised to cover him. Randera called.

Randera:
Langford:

Board:

Therefore Mr Randera is OUT while Stuart Langford takes possession of his chips, like so:

Chilli is OUT, a victim of the apparently unending luck of Mr Paul Hardy. Chilli found herself holding K-7 on the big blind, which she checked to an assortment of limps. The flop came down K-T-7, and Mateyboy bet 1.5k. Chilli went all in, but Mr Hardy was holding K-T. Ouch.

---------

Meanwhile tikay is down to around 8k after running pocket Nines into the mighty, um, J-9.

Paul Hardy just can't stop hitting stuff, if he doesn't get it on the flop, he always has it by the river. Early he made a big shove on a 7-6-4 board with 9-8 against 5-3 only to catch a 5 on the river for a 25k pot. Now he managed to get another big pot, getting in against another stack with against on a two hearts board, but when your luck's in, then the turn is good news and of course you're going to avoid the straight flush river redraw when the board pairs with the instead. He seems to be our chip leader with maybe 70k, perhaps even more.

James Brunskill went out a bit earlier I'm afraid. Chip Rich has just busted in a 60k pot with against Greek Jack's nines, the Q-Q-9 flop was kind of overkill. He'd also lost about 8k to Mickey Wernick beforehand after the pair of them checked a 6-6-5-T-J board til the river where Wernick bet 5k and Rich quickly called with A-J only to find he'd never been in front of Wernick's T-T.

Meanwhile Horneris has doubled through Greek Jack after flatting his raise with A-Q and raising the flop bet on an A-J-7 board. Greek Jack set him in and Horneris called with a sigh only to find his A-Q was in fact ahead of A-T. Brent now on about 45k.

Tikay has also doubled up, his tens holding against a flush draw. "I still only have half average though," he pointed out.

A double up for the gent who was our very early chip leader, whose name I have learned is the rather elegant Chris Cancelliere. All in on the river of a two spades X (sorry, didn't write down the river fast enough), Cancelliere was holding , while his opponent, the rather less elegantly named but very elegantly dressed Ginikachukwu Izuogu, henceforth to be known to your updaters as "Ctrl V", could only boast .

Paul Hardy's luck seems to have changed in the past few hands. He bet out 3k on the three clubs Two Clubs flop, and Alan Stearn called him. He bet another 3k on the turn, and went all in when Stearn raised to 6k. Call.

Hardy: 70k
Stearn: Two Diamonds two spades

River: a neither here nor there

Stearn doubles up while Hardy's stack, which had been around the 90k mark, drops down to 70k. Alan, as you can see, is over the moon.
