With the flop reading , John Eames was left with what appeared to be a tricky decision in the face of a 3,600 bet from Javed Akhtar. After a minute's thought, and the inevitable huff and puff from the table, John sighed and said, "Sorry guys, going to need a sec." In response, Javed smiled and commented, "I won't call the clock on you because then you'll think I want a call."

After a further momentary pause, John ultimately, and rather hesitantly, pushed a tall column of purple 1,000 chips across the felt to put his opponent all in. Javed's smile quickly turned to a dejected grimace, which thus triggered a "phew" and stroke of the brow from John who now realised he was in good shape.

After a dwell of his own, Javed opted for the call and flipped , but he was chagrined to see John turn over . However, poker is the cruelest of games and on the turn, Javed clenched his fist in delight and said, "bring the ace out" in celebration. A queen-less river, and the pot went unjustifiably to Javed whilst John rued ever making the correct play on the flop in the first place.

ffs john runs so bad, definate, big star of the future!
