They're at a standoff. Pardew wants the payoff money. Ashley doesn't want to give it him.

Pardew inevitably wins that battle. Unless of course he turns things around sharpish.

lol. We've had 4 years to show that he certainly can't.

Today's game is going to be awesome.

Hardly the worst result last night losing away 1-0 to a top ten side.  They were expected to lose last night.

Taking a striker off at 0-1 down is such a bad decision, he was scared to lose the game by more as he knew a hammering meant gg.

Buying Cabella for 12m and sending hba on loan is the worst decision any manager has ever made at the club.

Might squeak 10th, but realistically a 11th to 15th place side.  When a manager is under pressure, losing meekly to another also ran is not what the doctor ordered imo!

You could have easily got a point against us yesterday seeing as we couldn't finish our chances, awful miss by Colback.

On another note, much respect to the toon fans who gave a good round of applause to Neil "Nello" Baldwin our old kitman when he was introduced.

I'm not deluded. I think we're awful, have an awful manager and an unambitious chairman.

I think shipping off MYM to Roma and leaving us with 3 CBs of Colo/Williamson/Taylor is probably in some ways even worse.

he will be at rangers soon to turn them around.  He likes buying at the bottom of the market.  Which gaffer would you like?  I was talking to some stoke fans last night who said Pulis would be a good fit for Newcastle but not sure the Newcastle fans would think he was big enough for their club.
