The challenge is to buy a laptop as cheap as you can.

It's to be used by a young girl to upload her photos and go on bebo, not much else.


Where's the best place to go for such a machine? Should you go second hand, or is that too nitty?

the more memory you can get the better.  you can get a decent second hand machine for under 200 quid. pm if you need anything.

I'll add my request for help here too. Want a lappy for use just for chess and to have wireless.

My worry is that Im told laptops break down after a couple of years, so warranty (or lack of) is an issue but aint got the Russell Crowe for a brand new one Sad

I know you're on a downswing and it feels bad, we've all been there but it doesnt make you any less of a man, enough talk about being a "young girl".

you want to upload photos and chat on social networking sites that's fine, but you'll always be that super manly pushbot that pwned the stars stts for so long, now man up!!!!
