I know that posting the result is normally frowned upon, but my query here is about the result, and whether I should/could have played differently here.

My stats are  28/12/24/0.0 for the 84 hands played in the session and I've won most of the showdowns I've got to

The rest of the table is pretty standard for BF at this level, my callers were both VPIP >40.

Is the bet on the flop too big? I figured I only get called by an A at this size, whereas a smaller bet lets the flush draw in?

I'm winning lately - thanks in no small measure to being here, but I wonder if I'm getting best value from hands.

Why did you only min raise preflop? I think a c bet of $1 would have been better too.

Did you misclick pre? If not really hate the min raise preflop make it at least 0.8 to go, you are just encouraging a multiway pot and if you want that you might as well limp behind and deepen the effective stacks.

On the flop, yeah i make it a little less but it is not an awful bet at the lower levels as they probably don't pay much attention to sizing and therefore we can our bets bigger to get max value.

I don't like mid-size pairs much. I'd had a run of 88, 99 (twice), JJ over the last 15-20 hands and had mixed up the raise size with them and flat called a raise with 77.
I'd been winning with them too and if I'm honest I think I was concerned that this could be the hand that stopped the run.

The flop was not what I was hoping for. 1.40 to find out seemed right, if I bet $1 and get called what do I do with a diamond on the turn?
Getting called at $1.40 seems to me to say A, or maybe 22, or maybe 33...99?
Had I been called I'd have shutdown on the turn unless it was a 10.... yes?

If you are trying to restrict losses with mid pairs by min raising, you may as well argue that you'll restrict them by just limping.  Anyone that was going to play the hand unraised isn't going to be put off by the minraise.
