Hi!

I am new to the board and joined it to follow a friend of mine. Andreas Barstad started at table 3, and is one of the bet365 winners.

It would have been great to have some pictures of him.

Tony G and Kristy Gazes settle in on table 12.  In good spirits yesterday, Tony was pretty focused on winning, as, I would imagine, most of the players here are.  And even when they're out, they're in with a Golden Ticket second chance, so there's everything to play for, twice.

Give us time axenor - & maybe remind us if we forget - & pics of your buddy you shall have.

Now, here's the Antionio Esfandari exit. He's up against one Diamadis "Diamond" Diamaddis - yes, that's his REAL name, he's a Greek guy who lives in Sweden, speaks no English, & he qualified for $30....!.

Antonio was holding  Asp

This is the board......

    two hearts

And Diamond was holding? You got it.

I don't know if Skalie's details have made it on yet, but according to a whirlwind description he gave us in the little tea emporium outside, it's been a story of a flopped straight with Jon holding A3 turning into the full house for the other guy, followed by his own top set being laid down after the turn and river made a total of four spades to his none... and a couple of other hands in similar vein.  Undaunted, he's got over 30,000 still which is an enormous amount of chips in any other tournament, and a fair few in this one.

This is as close as I could get to the good ol' feature table, separated from the rest of the ballroom-sized room and featuring at present Bengt Sonnert, Mikael Thuritz (whom I believe you can see), Devilfish, Jan Sorensen, Jennifer Tilly and that sinister black-draped thing that looks like it's in seat 5 but is actually a camera.

Skaie also had AA, & Matey Boy, holding KQ, hit QQ on turn & river!

OK, 15 minute break time, we are off to get chip counts.
