Even with dad Alan watching closely from the sidelines, Martyn Cavanagh couldn't turn his shrapnel into a pot of gold. With just circa 35,000 remaining after his previous loss, Cavanagh allowed the big blind to hit and called all-in, although reluctantly, when Darren Hickman pushed from the small blind. As Hickman revealed a bullet, Cavanagh said dejectedly, "Yeah, that was what I was worried about."

Cavanagh = three clubs

didnt realise mick fletcher was still in

Amusing fact:

James Akenhead meant to put a £20 bet on Simon Zach to win, but has accidently put it on Zachary Ford instead at 200-1....

In the tank doth Eddie Lundon headeth...Eventually emerging with a 'Call'.

A hand later, and Eddie Lundon is inevitably all in again, but this time there is signs of a strong hand as Andreas Hoivold had raised before him.

Hoivold =

Lundon =

Board = two hearts

A double double means Lundon now has over 100,000 and is close to completing a comeback of Rocky proportions.

Alan Vinson raises to 60k on the button and Andreas Hoivold makes the call from the big blind.

Hoivold checks, Vinson bets 120k and Hoivold moves all-in and an insta-call from Vinson.

Hoivold:
Vinson:

And Hoivold is saved by a

His friends only the rail chide him for being lucky.

Andreas, "What do you mean I was lucky? I wasn't lucky, the queen didn't come!"

Brian Clarke raised to 56,000 preflop and Zachary called from the big blind. On a flop, Ford checked, Clarke bet 40,000, Ford made it 160,000 and Clarke passed.
