Wowzer. Shocked to hear about the burglary - you OK?

Over a warming cup of coffee with these two young fit policemen two officers of the law.....

Not understanding the question.... Grin Roll Eyes

Were handcuffs involved?

Admittedly I was clutching my police issue truncheon when the police arrived which startled them a bit I think!

glad to hear your ok Trace.

the plasters thing sounds bonkers.  If they had told the guy they were going to get him some plasters anyway I can't see that it was really theft.

The guy nicking plasters sounds like a bit of a twonk imo.

If his afflcition can be cured by a sticky plaster then chances are he wasn't a priority to the doctors and nurses in A+E and shouldn't be surprised if he has to wait a while.
If his time is so so valuable that he can't wait, maybe he should consider going to a fookin shop and buying some plasters next time. The hospital staff's time is probably pretty valuable too.

The trolleys and cupboards and that with all the plasters and pisch are full of sterile equipment and that innit? They don't need JoePublic scooting about inside for whatever they fancy.

No sympathy for the police either.
I'd trust a doctor or a nurse over the police any day of the week when it comes to deciding what is an effective use of time. Hope the police took the incident seriously and gave the twonk a good talking to/scared the shit out of him before they got on with the losing footraces to kids in trainers or whatever the fock they'd rather be doing.

They keep you waiting right up to the deadline that the NHS sets hosptials to be seen in A&E. If he wanted some plasters he most probs got pissed off at having to sit wait the standard 4 hours while blood came out of a wound.

Glad you are okay Trace and the officers of the law looked after you.

In A+E there is a proactive 'zero tolerance' policy but this is usually around violence. I suspect there was more to the story of stealing plasters like the guy was pissed and took plasters from a 'clean area' and contaminated it or was just a general nuisance and a danger to other patients?

If he just took a couple of plasters then it sounds like an over-reaction to call the police. The threshold of whats acceptable is different between departments and people working there so who knows?
