Yep, I'd missed him.

Still a few blondes not arrived yet.  LeKnave and EvilPie amongst them.

"Hey Chris," says Tim Blake, "How you doing?"

"Fine," says I, "Yourself?"

"Good, ta, hey, have you seen Skalie?"

He's a little shocked when I point out, Skalie sitting behind in the middle of a hand, raising a 100 bet to 500 on a two spades board, his opponent calls, while Skalie and Tim carry on chatting.

The river is the and his opponent leads into him for 100 again, Skalie just calls this time and wins the pot with Q-J against J-9.

Meanwhile, Chilli is complaining of being ill. Manflu obviously.

Oooooh Fernando

Incredibly, we're a man down, and it appears to be a Mr Fernando Martin. I think Simon Trumper was as surprised as anyone when he was summoned over to table 12, and even more aghast when he saw the hands. It was a classic kings verus eights encounter in the end, Daniel Gutfreund the lucky recipient on an uneventful 3-J-4-3-J board.

Red-Dog joins us a few moments later to share his early hand history: "I've had aces and kings already." "Did you double up?" we inquire. "No, nobody had eights," came the mischievous reply.

Loving Floppycam

Now that Parky's retired and Ross is in the sin bin, I think there's a gap in the market for an interviewer of Floppy's talents. That Chris Bruce interview was gold.
