If I were to buy a mobile from some place online, besides going with the Meteor upgrade option...what's the catch? Do I have to get it 'unlocked' or whatever before I use it or do most sites sell them ready to use?

Excellent. I've heard the hardware is a bit meh, but the software is brilliant.

OK, like I've mentioned, I'm after the G1.
I'll probably go for a Flext plan, which includes a decent amount of calls/texts and unlimited internetz.
However, T-mobile charge you 12p/minute for your voicemail (and this doesn't come out of your allowance). It's not a huge amount, obviously - but not ideal, and I begrudge paying for something that should come out of the allowance.
If you get a business contract, the voicemail is free. Why - I don't know.
So here's my question. If I get my company to order the phone on a business contract (and I pay them each month for the phone), will there be any tax implications for me or the business?

yo kin, got it a week or so ago.
its v good, the keyboard is awesome text msg's will never be the same.
the browser is v similar to the iphone and v quick to load from my location.
i got it on the flext 35 plan, which gets discounted form £35 to £31.50 if u order online. the flext ones are miles better than the fixed ones as browsing is unlimited.
defo recomend it.
