Number 46 wins by a short head for me, but just brilliant reading.

I'm amazed that entry didn't contain the words 'Tim Lovejoy' or 'Spoony'.

Danny Baker FTW.

Lovejoy should have had his own number full stop.

Spoony is worse. I thinkl Claridge might be too, but I ahve a biased soft spot for him

Danny Baker appeals to me, the rest I cannot do more than 5 mins of.

Of the pundits on radio, I have the most time for David Pleat.

Off for a lie down

44 and 10 are the worst for me.
Disagree with a couple though.

Soccer Saturday is SSN. Without SSN there would be no Soccer Saturday. And, I wouldn't be able to keep up to date with the breaking news in between lectures. All hail SSN.

Really?  Sounds like Pleat doesnt know his arse from his elbow sometimes, just spouts off random players names!  On TV commentary anyway...

Granham Taylor I actually like on FiveLive, probably cos i'm not English and don't remeber his Eng managers reign!

+1

Graham Taylor really is the best summariser working in football - actually offers footballing insight.

Not so keen on Pleat, though he does work better on radio than TV, where he has the annoying habit of telling you what you just saw yourself, instead of what you didn't see.

Mind you, it's difficult not to appear knowledgable about football when you're co-commentating with Alan Green.

Soccer Saturday was going before SSN started up.

Soccer Saturday is special and part of a saturday routine - watch the scores come in and watch the bets fail
I will never tire of listening to Paul Merson or Matt Le Tissier. I'd love to be there with them. No Paul Walsh for me though thanks.
Although it is on SS1 you don't really get your 6 hours worth there with early or late kick offs taking up time so 405 is the place to watch it.

405 is generally a very tedious channel but occasional has some good stuff on. Most of it's news is rubbish especially it's breaking news and i hate the phrase "sky sports news understands".
I have to admit to staying up on deadline day until the transfer window shuts while having it on. The only think the trasnfer window is good for imo.

The reel that repeats through the night and midday is pretty tedious but it's far outweighed by Soccer Saturday and any Soccer Special. Love the banter - what an easy job. Jeff and Kammy FTW.
