A year ago i used to teach Sport & Exercises Sciences in further education lol. For the last 12 months i have been a poker bum . This month i have to insure my motor and i recieved a redc quote of £980 from my current policy. This is partly because i have pranged the bastard thing twice in the last two years and had to claim, sigh. However, i thought i could get it cheaper so i checked out www.gocompare.com. When it came to employment details i didnt know what to put so i put unemployed and was quoted at £2k+ fml!! So, i changed it to teacher, education and got a quote for £558. Question is whats my fkin job title because i cant bullshiz can or it will my affect my policy? Or can i??? :-) Help

Retired is the correct answer. Cheap insurance and it's true. What more can you ask for?

I thought it was officially retired as well. Seem to remember someone consulting a solicitor when trying to sort out a mortgage a while back....

until you put in a big claim they google you and tell you to piss off cos you lied on the form Officially it's retired. And it would have to be a very large claim for them to go the effort of checking details like your job title.

And it would have to be a very large claim for them to go the effort of checking details like your job title. there has been a thread about this before, a blonde works for an insurance company who were googling all their retired customers. i would think in the current economic climate they would do a simple thing like this to save a few quid but who knows

lol breakfast chef. That would be lying if the signature pic is anything to go by, retired is just correct though. Obviously you can come out of retirement at any time but as far as the tax man and the state are concerned you are at the moment, retired.
