small update on my tourns since sunday. Wednesday i played the $1500 6max. It strted really well for me, good table got a lot of chips early. Then moved onto a table with a couple of decent players. One being the guy who came 4th, bryce. An interesting hand developed with bryce at 200/400. Im playing 36k him 70k. i open the button to 1050 with Q9o  and get flatted by bryce in the sb and the BB.  Flop 992 c/c i bet 1825, bryce calls. turn A, goes check check, he checks the T river and i bet 3225, he thinks for a while and jams. Im like WTF rly? tank for a while and since i know he knows, AA is in my range here how the hand played out that it would be too reckless jamming unless he had AA. I folded and he showed AA. He later told me that he knew he would miss some value if i had 9x but knows he gets the lot if i have a house. So down to 30k a few hands later im in the BB and an old guy in the sb opens to 1200 (200-400 (50)  i 3b to 3200 with AK  he 4b's to 7.5k i 5bet jam and he snaps 22. QQ2 flop saw me eliminated and feeling pretty downbeat.

The $2k on thursday i played really well, 6k starting i got to 10k pretty early then had a small 99<AT setback then another with 88<KT which saw me spiral down to 6k.
then a stroke of luck, i raise 525 utg with KK a guy jams 6k and a 2k shorty jams, i call and see AA for shorty and JJ for the 6k stack, i manage to bink the case king which sees me up to 14k.

i move onto a much tougher table now and hover around 14k until i make a play. Blinds 100/200 25, guy whose been pretty loose opens to 500, i peel in pos with 67s
rest fold, A82 he fires like 1500, i didnt buy it tbf and decided to float. Turn came 9 and he checked, i bet 1925 and he called, hmmm river bricked and went check check and he turned over 9To grrrrrrrrrr. pretty sure he takes same line with a rag ace but still annoying he got there.

Down to like 8k and utg limps for 200 with 4700 stack, im mid pos and flat 88, the button and sb come along and the BB, a useful young guy jams for 6k hmm, utg folds and i iso. 88<AQ to leave me on dust (1800), the v ery next hand i treble up with KK and then few resteals got me back up to 10k.

A round later a guy jams 3800 at 150/300 25  i jam QQ from SB, BB calls   QQ v AT of shover and AK of bb who covered me, 6633A grrrrrrrrrrr
lost 4/4 flips the last hurst for a 25k stack.

The venetian deepstack yesterday, i started like a house on fire. Up to 40k byt he fisrt break 70k by the 2nd, out by dinner!
playing 104k a guy opnes to 4400 at 800/1600 were both stacked and im new to the table so elect to peel AK OTB
K55 flop he bet 12k i raised to 27k he jams!! jeeez, i decide to call, wish ida been on the table longer, saw AA gg me.

feel asif i am due a post as ive been consumed by the whole vegas experience lately. All in all im playing very well in the live comps but just not really getting a stack together, keep on getting some yukky spots and the poker gods arent being that friendly to me. Ran deep in the bellagio 1k and came 6th. my exit hand is pretty standard. ian frazer opens to 10k at 2k 4k on the button im in the sb with  and 85k.....pretty easy shove imo but im dominated obv......

anyway heading down to the bellagio today to try and win mad ones! Went and railed parker yesterday for an hour or so where i saw him spin up a stack 6 handed then lose a big pot vs grundy which kinda sucks as i wanted him to win the world in that comp. hes so com, sat on his chair looking like a cross between james brown and indiana jones!

been having a few drinks and chilling out the past few nights, shooting some dice which has worked out nicely! its completely different to playing in england, the crowd goes insane if u bink a good number even if they only got $5 dollars waged out....i get serious amounts of satisfaction when a douche comes along and bets against everyone else waging out on the "dont pass" (might be wrong name but they bet on a 7) and its even more com when there throwing the dice and we all bink and they lose....people high fiveing eachother and shouting nice one shooter! meanwhile the clown wants to go hang himself coz he just done his net....

right gta shoot now as triggs moaning at me like a grandmother whos noticed youve got ur elbows on the dinner table! TIME TO BINK IMO.
