Ok. First update from me and itll mainly be a poker update which is a bit boring i know, so i apologise.

Live Tournaments

$330 at Bellagio 28th May = -$330
$550 at Caesars 29th May = -$550
$235 at Caesars 29th May = +$1,637
$130 at Venetian 1st June = -$130
$1,080 at Bellagio 2nd June = -$1,080
$550 at Venetian 4th June = -$550
$550 at Venetian 5th June = -$550
$1,080 at Bellagio 8th June = -$1,080

P/L= -$2,663

Havent really enjoyed the live tournaments so far, which sounds a bit crazy seeing as im in Vegas, which is where its all happening. The reason for this is that ive failed to accumulate any really big stacks, which is where live tournament poker becomes fun. I keep going on like 5 hour runs of not one decent starting hand, and i sound so tez and amatuerish saying this i know, but it makes it harddddd. When i did get a little deep in the Bellagio the other day, i could hardly believe my luck when i got dealt a   and also a   in the same hand utg, but my joy was short lived as my shove was called by a man with an   and another  . Fuck that guy. 24th.

Saying this, the standard in some of the tournaments, particularily at the Venetian doesn't seem too strong, so i guess i should jam some volume and see what happens. Im confident that when i accumulate some chips early on i will put them to good use.

Also, really looking forward to my first WSOP tournament on Thursday, playing the $1,500. This is on the stable freeroll for winning the stable league in May, so doesnt go on the make up, wiiiiii. Sure not going to light 4 too many people under the age of 25.

Live Cash (my own dime) = +$1,043

Been playing mainly 1/2 but also the odd 1/3 and 2/5 on my own dime, during times when iv busted tournaments or when theres no tournaments on and doing ok. Havent played that many hours. 1 hand in particular springs to mind.

Playing a $420 stack 1/3 at The Rio, some guy utg +1 (also with like $400) makes it $13 and i flat in position with as you do.

The flop comes down a ridicolously gin , and when he bets $30 i raise to like $90. He for some reason flats and then continues to donk lead $120 on the   turn. I then shove for the extra $177 he has, and he tanks for hours and hours and then finally calls with   ("Hey Brent, Slowroll?"), "(Yeah, What the Fuck!!!!") . So the river was an   (orly) and the $800 pot was shipped in my direction. He then launched a tirade of abuse towards me for at least 20 minutes. I sure cared when i just banged my blackberry onto The 40 Year Old Virgin and sat and watched that pissing myself at regular intervals whilst playing.

Casino Games (also sadly my own dime) = -$2,200

This is so stupid but pretty com, im retired now tho. I did like $700 on some stupid slot machine in like 10 minutes, which all the other Shrewdies found extremly amusing. Im just glad i only had $700 with me, i felt like i couldnt let that slot machine beat me, i would never have stopped until i lost everything. I stay out of the way of the slots now.

Craps. Aarghhhh, all the other Shrewdies love this game. i dont even like it that much, it seems pretty tough to win at and kind of boring but that hasnt stopped me doing like $1k in at it. Defo not playing again.

Casino War. hmmm, im actually not too bothered about the monkey im stuck playing this, its so much fun. High card against the dealer, whats not to love.

I do though think its a very good thing i binked that $12,500 online the other day, otherwise i could be getting worried.

Anyway, Im bored now and this is too long already. Had a day off yesterday and went shopping. Did like $600 but got a lot of decent stuff from like Calvin Klein, Guess, Ralph Lauren, Pacsun and also loads of new tennis gear from the Nike and Adidas shops.

Had a couple of good night outs but need to have a lot more, also need to take a lot more pictures for the thread and stuff.

Went to the Rio yesterday evening for tea at The Voodoo lounge at the top of The Rio. Took a few pictures too with some of the casinos in the background. Sadly my Blackberry hasnt allowed for the best of picture quality:

My week in comparison:

Sunday:

Went for a good roast then played online and knocked my dick in.

Monday:

Played 18 holes @ Singing Hills with Mr Adderley and Mr Colclough followed by dinner with the missus at Due South (try it when you are in Brighton) followed up by Terminator at the cinema.

Day was perfect except the film but meh.

Tuesday:

Went to the driving range hit 200 balls then went and did some putting practice, came back to play online and just do money in, fun times.

Wednesday:

Been out to Brighton & Hove Golf Club, play 27 holes in a variety of weather (windy first 9, rain second 9 and calm/still third 9) now got in for dinner then out on the town later with missus and her two friends.

To come:

Thursday should be a round at either Dyke Golf Club or West Chiltington depending on wind, then sadly have to play poker again.....Sad

My new life plan is to get good enough to hustle golf so i don't have to play poker ever again, ONE TIME!

Not anti travel, been to Vegas twice this year and am booked to go back in October!

Just anti travelling for poker, do it all the time online at home why would i want to fly away to one of the best cities in the world and waste my time working?

I'm free Smiley

You must be new at this golf malarky Flushy as I distinctly remember asking you if you played golf when I was thinking of coming down to the South coast for some fessie or other a year or two back and you replied " No, why the question?" and looked at me like I was some sort of nutter which obv. has some credibility, golfing aside.
