He's not on the list, sorry. I don't think he entered.

What was the total including alts?

347, of whom 213 remain. Everyone else is playing cash or eating nachos.

Blondeites Down!

Very much OUT is Mr Evilpie, who ran A-3 into something rather better belonging to Paul Gourlay. "That was short and sweet," said the Pieman and headed off to the cash tables.

Also a goner is Mr MrAlex2U (sp?) - after nursing a short stack for much of the evening, he ran his A-9 into pocket kings. However, I have been playing matchmaker, and have arranged for Mr Kinboshi, currently seated in the cash area, to buy him a consolatory beer. Ahhh.

Almost as down on his luck as those recent bustees is Michael Greco. With around 10k in the pot by the river of the board, he bet 4.5k, leaving himself just 4.5k behind. Eventually his opponent, one David Robertson, called. "You win," said Greco even before Robertson had turned over his pocket fives for a set, and mucked.

Robertson up to an impressive 50k or so.

Interesting note: Barry Neville's iPod is called "bigpuffs" on iTunes

iPodgate update:

Me: "Barry, why is your iPod called 'Bigpuffs?'
Barry: "Fookin' 'ell, it was that fookin' Dave Colclough who fookin' programmed it, I'll fookin' get 'im. If you see 'im, tell 'im Barry Neville is lookin' for 'im.

Barry is much happier with his tournament though, having gone from a short stack to back over 20k just before the break.

Barry: "I 'ave just won five 'ands on t' bounce before the break. I had four thousand, eight 'undred and now I'm back over 20k."
