Oh and a random brag.

top coverage what time do u think it will finish, or will a deal be done

Well, I think we're going to get to the final by about 11pm and having a deal during the final table. That way 5 or 6 players can guarantee themselves £10k each.

Time of 10th place exit...

In what can only be described as 'possible-update-killingness', Darren Shallis is out in 10th place.

He pushed for 103k with and found Dipak Makawana reraise to 207k behind in the small blind. Hassan Irfan STOOD UP because he had A BIG DECISION, before meekly folding later saying he had Jacks.

Dipak Makawana showed

three diamonds

Newportlad just pipped at the final hurdle.

Chip counts and final table photos to come shortly.

Ooh, players are on their way back to the table, scuppering Floppy's plan to get ice cream.

Please stand by.

I have cheesecake, who is the big winner now?*

Well, play is underway, and has largely been characterized by gentle caginess thus far.

Sunny nicked some blinds with a moderate raise.

Colin Young raised to an ambitious 66k from the cutoff, but folded when Dipak Makanawa (henceforth to be known as Doc) reraised him all in from the small blind. Doc's chip lead gets bigger, and Young is left with 150k or so.

I would like to applaud DTD for increasing the size of their chicken Caesar salad roughly threefold since the last time I ate one. Value for money now imo.

If they did a deal now, they'd get around £9k apiece. Not bad for a weekend's work. Go go go the deal!

I'm routing for Nagi, played on a table with him at Broadway festival, he seemed like a top chap and a good player...

Yeah, one hand I didn't have time to post before the final was when he called Steve Jelinek's 40k raise preflop from the big blind and then check/called a 45k bet on an flop before leading for 75k on the . Jelinek looked puzzled but folded. Nagi showed .

interesting hand!

Lawrence Gosney bets 27k on a flop but gives up when Paul Newman gives it the big Kahuna and moves all-in for about 300k.

Gosney then calls a raise from Frazier Beattie but folds the Two Diamonds flop before Beattie even bets.

Peter Renkel moves all-in for his last 35k or so. Auto-call from Hassan Irfan in the big blind.

Renkel:

Irfan:

Two Clubs

Renkel doubles up.

Next hand and Renkel pushes over the top of Nagi's 45k raise. Call.

Nagi:

Renkel:

three diamonds

Renkel now gone from a nano-stack to a micro-stack, can he reach short stack status?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
