Las Vegas Casinos and Travellers Cheques

Does anyone know if the casinos in Vegas will allow you buy chips using travellers cheques?

Any casino cashiers cage will sort you.  (i.e. you can't use them at the tables!)  Plenty of rooms have wallsafes and all have deposit box amenities, so taking cash isn't much of a problem.

Do people still bother with travellers cheques? Never use them personally.

When I went I used a mix of cash and a card you get from the post office which is a Visa debit card but loaded up with dollars. And normal credit cards in case I needed them.
