Huge pot for David Maudlin.

Karim Jomeen raised preflop to 24k and Paul Gardener moved all-in for about 130k. Then David Maudlin moved all-in behind him and left a big decision for Jomeen. Eventually the latter called with , Gardner had and Maudlin flipped . But this is where it got controversial, Jomeen flipped his Queens as soon as he called but Maudlin waited until after Gardner had flipped his cards before he turned over his Kings and Jomeen said, "Thanks for the slowroll."

two hearts board eliminated Gardner and left Jomeen short but the latter was more concerned that Maudlin had waited too long to show his cards. "You know you've got the best hand, I'm just saying open your hand. It's bad etiquette."

Maudlin was unrepentant, "I never slowroll anyone."

I'm not totally sure it was a slowroll or not, but Maudlin did take longer than most would to flip over Kings when they know they have to have the best hand, so I can understand why Jomeen is upset, but Maudlin did take ages to call with the A-Q earlier though so perhaps it's just his style.

Jon Raab, who watched the hand also, thought it wasn't a slowroll.

Knowing Dave this would never have been deliberate

Chi is not Nguyening at the moment.

He's just doubled up Eddie Lundon with vs on a board.

Then a couple of hands later he raises preflop once more with and Kenny Burke flats for a big chunk of his stack with and they get it in on a Two Clubs board, Burke hitting the and then the for good measure...

George McDonald tells me, "Kenny has been drinking pints of wine all day..."

I think the thing that aggrieved Jomeen was that David Maudlin was standing back a few feet away from the table and did wait until Paul Gardener had flipped his cards first rather than just turning his hand over when he was called.

Perhaps Jon Raab stated it best though, "At the end of the day, what difference does a few seconds make?"

Maudlin is vying with Surinder Sunar for the chip lead.

Harri Isomaki has been very quiet all day but has sprung into action

First he pushed in the cut off with  and was called by Maudlin in the big blind with

produced a split pot

Very next hand he loked down at  and conveniently I was stood behind to have a sneaky peek. A subtle dwell, another push rather than a suspicious looking standard raise and frustratingly for him no business

Very next hand he looks down at  three diamonds three clubs and possibly thinking his third successive push would receive no respect he passed. Immediately Kevin Holbrook next door pushed in, uncalled
