i don' think I would have sold him for that.

ok, I would have sold him for less....lol 80mill. This and 56 for Kaka is just ridiculous...I almost hope they don't win anything again and that Barca continue to dominate.

This was all arranged last season was it not? when he wanted to go. They told him he could leave the end of next season, everyones happy.

I will miss watching him in the EPL, he was utter class player in terms of skill.

Too much to turn down.

Still based on the 2007/8 season performance I suspect.

Hope this means we hang on to Tevez though.

Newcastle is up for sale for £100m, worth only £20m more than Ronaldo

strange times

I suppose this was all agreed with CR a year ago..."give us one more season and then go".

Was so expecting this to be a rubdown

In a way it kinda is tho  Grin

If you were talking just about the value of the team alone i'd rather have ronaldo then that shower of shit all added together but would say sjp is worth more than ronaldo, just

It's not a rubdown

Just a thought on what "trophy assets" which Ronaldo is to a rich buyer, can fetch compared to a whole club, for sure on hard times, but presumably more of a bargain for the long term

Great player. Big miss but deffo right time to sell.

In all honesty he should have gone last year- you can tell his heart's no longer at the club

Will be interesting how Fergie will spend the 80m cos he'll be a massive loss obv

Guess just what he'll add to the team plus increased shirt sales etc etc is why he's worth so much,or why real think he is at least

I do think if someone with the right capabilities i.e not a complete moron, and a few spare 000's of millions to spend then newcastle are a bargain imo
