Ferguson on SSN says that is Man United's spending over! WTF!?!

BS imo, Fergie just trying to do 2 things.

1) If he fails to get anyone else, he will say that is happy with the current squad.

2) Sending out a signal to other selling clubs, that Man U won't be held to ransom as they are not desperate to add.

LOL, this was done by an Arsenal fanzine. He is apparently in talks with Man City about an overpriced transfer to them, I sure hope it falls through.

Hopefully we can offload Eboue aswell, there is still talk about him being part of the deal that brings Melo to Arsenal.

If we do manage to offload Adebayor I would love to see us go for Huntelaar but there is big talk of Chamakh from Bordeux.

The Adebayor deal is about £22m with wages of £170k per week lol city just LOL

Tevez didn't want to sign for Liverpool as he didn't want to upset the man u fans.  Wonder how they'll feel now he's signed a 5-year contract for Citeh.

A fantastic player, and I would have loved to see him at Liverpool.

Alonso wants out. I'm a bit gutted but cant blame the guy after the way he was treated last summer.

Still if we get £30m (or £20m and Negredo) for a guy who Juve and Arsenal wouldn't pay £16m for last summer then we're laughing if we can get Martinez or Camiasso as a replacement.

It seems to be the case that he wants to go, but I haven't seen anything new (with direct quotes) that suggests that there's any further evidence that he is actually going.

Paulo da Silva signs for Sunderland.

I think this is a great signing, solid no nonsense defender, would love him in my team. Don't know price tag yet

How many forwards do Man city need? really I thought the problem with the team was the complete wank defense.

Maybe they've brought Keegan back and put him in charge of transfers?

Looks like Adebayor will be at Eastlands come the start of the season.

The team is looking stronger and stronger.  They're definitely going to be a force this season, and I'm sure they'll be at least challenging for a CL spot.

They're gonna have 4 top top strikers in santa cruz, tevez, adebayor and robinho cant see too many of these being happy on the bench! I think they need to sort the rest of the team out imo.

Ive never rated Downing, can't believe Villa will pay £12 mil for him, did he even score last season?

Ashley Young on his way?

Don't rate him either. Isn't he injured until December anyway?

I was looking forward to seeing Bellamy seethe for a season not even getting on the bench but it looks like Redknapp wants him. Benjani to Blackburn possibly that just leaves about 3 other strikers to offload.
