This happened 1 week to the day in the same plane at the same location as Charlie was flying wit the ATC

absolutely tragic for those involved,

2nd recent RAF training accident in a very short space of time

Worrying....

Charlie went to ATC last nite but nothing was mentioned about it, but he did say that it wasn't his squadron that went so he probably didnt know the unfortunate lad.

I asked him if he was ok about flying and he replied sure they wont let that happen again...

not so sure myself after the previous incident,will be interesting to see the outcome of this surely both pilots woud have been made aware of the others proximity if not why not??

no, because thats not how it works.

so how does it work?
is there not a control tower?
what are the chances of a repeat of this happening again?

all flying activity has been postponed for a 2 week period due to the on going investigation, when this has been concluded a meeting with all the air cadet parents will be called to discuss any concerns...
